Since this is a fairly old system, and not everybody is familiar with it, I will fill you in on what each stat does:
STATS:
Attack/Strength Power:
This stat specifically helps your character physically hit harder. The higher this is, the harder your character will hit with their weapons.
Physical Defense:
Physical Defense allows you to be able to defend yourself from attacks from weapons. Typically people with shields, or those who are using two weapons, have a higher form of defense. It also helps to get armor to boost this stat.
Elemental Power:
This stat tells us how hard your elemental abilities are going to hit. The higher your stat, the harder hitting your bending abilities will be. This stat doesn't apply to Summoners because their summons are the ones doing the elemental stuff.
Elemental Defense:
Elemental Defense is a stat that boosts resistances against elemental attacks, primarily bending. The higher this stat is, the better chances you have of defending yourself against bending attacks, as well as how much damage your character would take if a hit were to land.
Speed:
Obviously, Speed tells you how quickly your character moves and attacks. Typically people with high speed can deliver quicker attacks than people with lower speed.
Accuracy:
This stat allows you to make your attacks land more often on your enemies. A person with high accuracy rarely ever misses their attacks.
Evasion/Agility:
This stat tells us how well you are able to DODGE an enemy attack. (This is different than speed. You can be slow, and still have high evasion.)
Stamina:
High Stamina allows you to take more punishment. The more Stamina you have, the easier it is to not only take hits, but it promotes a faster recovery time from being attacked as well.
For example:
Status Points are also given as rewards for successfully surviving or completing Website Wide Events, which are pretty tough and require a lot of effort in order to actually do. Success in these, (meaning whatever is causing the trouble is defeated,) will mean everybody is granted status points. Even if you fail, people who contributed more will be given more points. Obviously though, winning is better than not.

Growing in ability:
Your character can be granted several status points depending on their accomplishments. Everybody's RPs are reviewed and looked at by the members of staff. If you earn stat points, we will PM you with the amount of stat points, and the category which you can place them in.For example:
Aang fights Zuko and loses. However because of his performance in battle, Zitka and Leo decide he was very good at dodging Zuko's attacks, and grant him 3 points on his agility stat.
